Web7 feb. 2024 · They have chips built into their cartridges that the printers watch for and often they refuse to accept the cartridges if they're not genuine HP crtridges and even of they are, if they've been refilled, the printer also rejects them. This is morally reprehensible, in my opinion, but it's a reality.
